The installation transforms the entrance to the Galleria KME into an agorà, where visitors listen to eight protagonists of Italian architecture (Stefano Boeri, Massimiliano Fuksas, Maria Giuseppina Grasso Cannizzo, Renzo Piano, Franco Purini, Elisabetta Terragni, Paola Viganò, Cino Zucchi) as they respond to three questions on the past, present and future of the discipline.

The screens, one for each architect, are positioned across two levels, while a series of steps forms a kind of tribune where each voice, in turn, begins its tale.

The concept was built around the idea of a suspended conversation: eight distinct intellectual positions, some in contradiction with one another, speaking side by side.

The interviews were filmed in the architects' own studios, with a set that remained consistent yet always distinct, each subject seated in a chair of their own choosing. Dotdotdot curated the entire process — concept, direction, storyboard, filming, installation design.

Eight profoundly different responses emerge, revealing the complexity of Italian architecture through a language accessible to a broad public: a constellation of positions where discipline and radical openness, theoretical rigour and personal biography, confidence in the future and lucid critique of the present, all coexist.

Dotdotdot also curated the exhibition's visual identity: a sober graphic system built around a single typeface, a green accent colour, and bilingual panels designed for high legibility — guiding visitors through the space without overlaying the exhibition structure.
